Trustee - young member

Trustees are the most senior level of governance in the organisation. We have two spaces on the board of trustees dedicated to young people under 25 to ensure that young people's voices are heard and listened to at the highest level.

As Trustee you will contribute to the successful implementation of our ambitious strategic plan and building on our organisational strength. You will be committed to Brook’s mission and values, be an excellent ambassador and will bring expertise that adds value to the trustee team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Participate as an active trustee to the strategic direction of Brook 
• Ensure effective governance and that Brook’s policies and procedures are in place to comply with current legislation and good practice 
• Act as an ambassador for Brook and our work
• Prepare and participate in the cycle of meetings and ensure that decisions taken at meetings are implemented
