Clinic Support

Clinic Support volunteers are based in Brook clinics, which provide free and confidential information, contraception, pregnancy testing, advice and counselling, and testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections. Clinic Support volunteers play a key role in empowering young people to make positive and healthy lifestyle choices and to improve their wellbeing, by supporting them through their visit to clinics. This may include tasks such as greeting and guiding young people visiting clinics, providing condom demonstrations, explaining how to use self testing kits and follow up calls to young people moving on to other services. 

Key responsibilities could include:

  • Uphold Brook’s values
  • Welcoming young people into the clinic
  • Guiding young people through their clinic visit
  • Explaining how to use self testing kits
  • Sign posting
  • Calling clients moving on to other services
  • Gathering feedback
  • Confidentiality

Location: Currently we have Clinic Support Volunteers in Dudley but are recruiting at more locations below.
