We all have times in our lives when we feel worried, anxious or distressed and need to talk to someone.

It's great to be able to talk problems through with friends, partners or parents, but sometimes it can feel like everyone has an opinion or think they know what is best for you. It can be hard to work out what you really want or feel.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk through any concerns or issues you have. You might want to talk about someting that has happened in the past and is still having an effect on your life now. You may feel concerned about your present situation or about the future.

Talking to someone in confidence and exploring your feelings can enable you to understand what is troubling you. It can help you to see things more clearly and with less anxiety. You may see answers and solutions that did not occur to you before.

Almost anything that causes you concern can be the starting point for counselling....
